Who does not love laddus? Indian traditional sweets like rava laddus are delicious and also healthy. Here is a simple rava laddu recipe
Ingredients
- Chiroti rava - 3 cups
- Ghee - 1 cup
- Almonds - 1/2 cup
- Cashews - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 2 1/2 cup
- Water - 1 1/4 cup
- Cardomom powder - 1/2 tbsp
Method
- Roast almonds and cashews by adding little ghee. Grind them in a mixer grinder to make it a coarse powder.
- Roast chiroti rava in a cup of ghee till it turns slightly golden brown and the nice aroma starts coming.
- In a pan, add sugar and water to make sugar syrup. bring it to boil. add cardamom powder to the sugar syrup
- Once you get the one string consistency, switch off the flame and add roasted rava and almond cashew powder. Mix it well.
- Take a handful of the mixture when it's warm and make laddus.
- Delicious rava laddus are ready!
